lectures and dealer demonstrations.
Most lectures are open to non-members (for a nominal fee) and are
sometimes arranged at very short notice. (Your

October 2008 Presidential
 Dear Club Members,
Well, what a start to our New Year in the company
of Andrew Murray, as the first lecturer, amongst so
many fellow members.
I thoroughly enjoyed his contribution. I found the
card tricks very interesting indeed. Hopefully the
computer information was helpful to all those with a
computer. As, yet, I am not one of those, but fully appreciate
all the help I receive from those that do!
Congratulations to Stewart Young, our Welfare Officer,
on being given the ‘Club Member of the Month’,
in recognition of all his hard work for the club.
Let us all hope the year continues as well as it has
started.
